If you want to see the photos in more detail... such as the one with the windtowers which aren't so wonderfully visable, I believe you can click on the photos to make them bigger.
HI Samuel, I just typed out a comment to you, not sure it was sent, so here i go again. Just recieved your blog address yesterday, great idea. Sounds like you are having a wonderful trip. I should have done something like that a long time ago. IF you see franc again, please give him my greetings. YOur descriptive writings and photos are excellent. Looks like you are having the time of your life. Your trip to Berlin must have been interesting. Please write about that trip and all the different food you are eating. Bye for now Love Aunt Fran
Heyyy I also just received your blog address! It looks like you're enjoying yourself. *grin* let me tell you, it looks very different there than here in China. ;) Crazy drivers in Germany? I've had some interesting experiences driving. Here they actually have four pedals: the accelerator, the brake, the clutch, and the air horn. There are lines on the roads here, which I find kind of surprising as no one really cares if there are lines or not. If the other side of the road has less cars, use it! If the shoulder has less cars, use it! If you can manage, drive in the centre of the road and don't let anyone pass! Yeah, it's pretty nutty here. The roads are even built so that you often must merge onto the wrong side of the road. It's fun. :) Anyway, keep us all updated. Enjoy thyself.
OH OH!!! And I keep forgetting to tell you!!! Beer here is CHEAP. VERY CHEAP. Premium beers for just over $1 CAD. The normal beers (青岛啤酒 isn't bad) are less than $0.50. Mmmmm......:)
For several years now I've been fascinated by what is going on in the world around me. I feel passionately concerned about individuals standing up for the right thing, so I've decided to create this blog. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, punning around, and traveling as much as I possibly can on a shoe-string budget.
